The forthcoming Health Mela (community fair) will be held at the Academy@Worden school on Saturday 12th September 2015. The event will be opened by the Chief Guest Professor Caroline (Carrie) MacEwen, President of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
The event is free to attend and will have several health related stalls. Visitors can also take the opportunity to have free blood test for diabetes, cholesterol as well as confidential counselling about personal health. The event will be open from 11 AM to 4 PM.
